The natural Pepsi is just taking it back to all natural ingredients. It's made with cane sugar and Kola syrup, plus no preservatives. It is how cola is supposed to be, it just cost to damned much.

I haven't heard good things about the Pepsi Throwback, so I skipped on it.

The Mt. Dew Throwback is pretty good though. Less carbonation, and less after taste in my opinion.

Well whats interesting is that Pepsi and Coke (outside of the US) use real sugar instead of corn syrup...at least thats what i thought...cause when i go to venezuela to visit my family i member how the coke tastes different...i understand its also catered to the markets demand (sweeter, or blander....etc

After a quick search i found that they have "kosher pepsi"..wtf? jesus christ... (no pun intended)

In the States corn syrup is cheaper than cane sugar. In places where corn is a serious staple crop(like South America) it's the other way around. We grow an awful lot of corn here but most of it goes to livestock.

partially off-topic: i still don't understand how high fructose corn syrup is unnatural or unhealthy. i just read an article about how it only contains 8% more fructose than regular table sugar. ?????

i thought my post alluded to the fact that i had already read articles on the matter. i guess not.

anyways, the article you posted declared the same exact thing i was commenting on: frutose is "bad". in sucrose, aka table sugar/"real" sugar, there is a 50/50 distribution of glucose to frutose. in HFCS, there is a 42/58 distrubution of glucose to fructose. is 8% that bad? the whole propaganda battle between the "real sugar" people and corn refiners association clouds up what the facts are.

I hate mountain dew, so i just purchased a bottle of the OG pepsi-cola. I have to admit, i kinda like it better than the previous pepsi...its lighter on the taste buds, no so much aftertaste like someone had mentioned before...And i guess im wierd but its not as "filling" probably since it doesnt seem to be as carbonated...
