Pioneer Aftermarket Head Unit Trim Piece Not Lining Up
Hey fellas searched around and came up with nothing. I was wondering if any of you have ran into an issue installing an aftermarket head unit into your ride. I purchased a Pioneer last week and installed it. The install went perfectly up until the outer ring refused to fit. It appears it is too wide all the way around so the factory trim will not fit around it. Any ideas? Thanks

I ended up trimming the factory trim panels slightly using a razor blade. I installed a JVC unit in my S13 and it was very close fit, so I simply "shaved" off a few slivers on the factory trim to make it fit. I'm not sure if the Pioneer's trim is thicker/wider than JVC.
