Just registered/ First time S14 Owner NC
Just wanted to introduce myself and see if I recieve any tips or advice to Zilvia.net.
Im new to forums and I just purchased my first 240SX. It's a Black 1995 240SX Zenki SE 5 Speed (Will post pics up later, horrible weather right now). I've got Fortune Auto 500 Series Coilovers and a J30 LSD. I bought it this way and I love it I waited to join Zilvia.net until I actually purchased a S-chassis. Im throwin 3 codes (P0325 & P0705 2 I remember off the top of my head) and I'm currently searching for more info on how-to's, symptoms, diagnosing, and if I should worry. One code is from a EGR Flow Malfunction because of the missing EVAP canister. The 2 I listed were knock sensor malfunction and transmission range sensor malfunction which I thought was only with autos. Anyways see you guys around the .net |

Replace the 1st O2 sensor on the header to solve the knock sensor code. I replaced my knock sensor and still got that code until I replaced the O2.
What part of NC are you in?

Fayetteville Area. Thanks man for the first reply lol
How did yours run with the bad O2 sensor? Did it has a strong gassy smell? Did it's idle go up and down much? I'm checking the IACV and for vacuum leaks tomorrow. Hopefully get some pictures while I'm at it to prove I own the car. So I'm a little bummed I went to confirm that my car did indeed have a J30 LSD and found out that it wasn't. I knew from the 6 bolt pattern then that I either had an open diff or a VLSD which is kinda rare. The diff looked like it was more than likely the original factory diff so I decided that I would try decoding the model#. So I checked my 18th digit on my model# and it was "-". Yes I know kinda not what I was expecting or hoping for, it's a open diff. http://www.240sxforums.com/forums/s1...have-vlsd.html |

Here's a couple photos I've been trying to get some when Im not working. sorry if they are poor quailty I took them with my banged up droid.
I've since painted the bottom lip and I'm searching for a replacement foglight for the driver side that doesnt have a busted lens like mine. I have also fixed an exhaust rattle, got an alignment since the FA 500 series coils. I'm wanting to source out a spare ka24de to build for boost and problaly a "whitebunny" clutch & flywheel kit. I love my car at night since it needs paint and I dyed the headliner and the A pillars black. Found some 18x9 Volks(I'm not aware what type of Volks but I know they are black and got the right bolt pattern) today that I will be getting off a friend for really good price. Hopefully the deal goes through and I will have pics up of those soon. |

So the Volk's I found a deal on areTE37's 18x9 +35 mm (all of them are) offset I'm kind of worried about the offset do you guys think they will fit? Edit: Nvrmind from what I am seeing on rimtuck they will look stupid now if they were 18x9.5 +12-15 then I would be more in the ball park of were I needed to be.
