smog laws in Arizona
Ill be moving to Arizona in a few months and I want to know how the smog laws are there, any info will help. Like is it legal to run jdm engines? Thanks to the people that answer this question.

Non OBDII cars require a sniffer test every 2 years along with a visual inspection that may include Gas Cap, Evaporative System, PCV System , Catalytic Converter, AIR Injection System.
OBDII cars require a computerized OBDII scan. If it passes the tests, they don't really care what engine it is.

There is a local shop that can handle all your emissions concerns. Also it depends where in as you live. I am in Prescott and don't have to emissions test any of my cars

Sneak on over to az240sx.org and check out the meets section. There's usually something going on and there are drift and drag events at least once a month!

Depends on where you live in AZ. You can get by with any swap in AZ. In yuma we don't even have emissions testing or sniffers. Straight pipes all day.
