Post The WHP Database Thread SR/KA/RB/CA

It's time for zilvia to have a SR/KA/RB/CA power output database. Here's the deal, post up your mods and whp/wtq numbers WITH DYNO SHEETS (No dyno sheet no post)and I will do my best to accumulate all of the stats and put it on an excel sheet.

There will be a lot of info here and I'll need help. PM me if you're interested in helping maintain this sheet, will only consider long term zilvia members.

This is what I need (the more info the better):

Engine (S13 SR, S14 SR, R32 RB20, S13 KA24DE, S14 KA24DET, etc)
WHP and WTQ Numbers
Dyno Sheet
Turbo (if applicable)
PSI
Major Mods (stroker kit, intake manifold, SR20VET head on s13 block or s14/15 block, etc)
ECU
Cams
Gas/Fuel Type Used (E85, 93, 91, etc)

Example 1:

Engine: S13 SR20DET
WHP: 350 WHP 300 WTQ Dyno Sheet: www.dynosheetlink.com
Rods + Pistons: Oem
Injectors: 550CC
Compression: Stock
Turbo: HKS GT28RS w/ Tomei Exhaust Manifold
Manifold: Greddy Intake Manifold
Boost: 15 Psi
Cams: HKS Step 2 264/264
ECU: HKS F Con V Pro
Gas: 91

Example 2:

Engine: S14 KA24DE-T
WHP: 275 WHP 290 WTQ Dyno Sheet: www.dynosheetlink.com
Rods + Pistons: Oem
Injectors: 550CC
Compression: 9:1
Turbo: S14 T28 w/ Modded SR Stock Manifold
Intake Manifold: Stock Intake Manifold
Boost: 13 Psi
Cams: Brian Crower Cams 264/264
ECU: Nistune
Gas: 91

Here's the spreadsheet link

These are not my engines, just ones I have tuned and happen to have scanned dyno sheets of. Some of the info on the car I will not remember totally correctly.

Engine: vg33et
WHP:

Rods + Pistons:
Stock
Turbo: Holset, I cannot remember if it were an h1c or he351
Manifold: Arcadia or something of that nature
Boost: 20ish psi
Cams: 272
ECU: z31 with nistune
Gas: 93

Engine: s13 sr
WHP:

Rods + Pistons: ?
Turbo: 2871r
Manifold: stock
Boost: 20
Cams: stock
ECU: s13 sr nistune
Gas:93

This next one is the same car and turbo but with some mods including a better intake and intercooler and cams. I have made more power that both of these engines with a 2871 on a sr on pump gas. There was something with the engine or turbo that was holding it back.

Engine: s13 sr
WHP:

Rods + Pistons: ?
Turbo: 2871r
Manifold: greddy
Boost: 20ish
Cams: 264 I believe
ECU: s13 nistune
Gas: 93

Engine: s13 sr
WHP:
Rods + Pistons: I cannot remember, but I do believe it was a fresh forged bottom end with stock compression
Turbo: stock
Manifold: stock
Boost: 12psi
Cams: stock
ECU: stock+ nistune
Gas: 93

Engine: NA Ka24de
WHP: low numbers are stock tune, higher numbers are after my tuning

Rods + Pistons: Cannot remember rods, pistons were actually only 9:1
Turbo: NOPE
Manifold: stock intake, had exhaust hedder
Boost: Cold air intake
Cams: stock I believe
ECU: stock + nistune
Gas: 89

Engine: s13 ka24de-r (supercharged)
WHP:
Rods + Pistons: Cannot remember, may have been stock actually
Supercharger: I think was an eaton m62
Manifold: Modified stock for supercharger
Boost: 10-15 depending on rpm
Cams: I believe 248/248
ECU: stock + nistune
Gas: E85

Engine: rb25det (all stock so I wasnt allowed to rev)
WHP:
Rods + Pistons: stock
Turbo: gt35
Manifold: some australian manifold
Boost: 24psi
Cams: stock
ECU: z32+ nistune
Gas: 93

Engine: rb25
WHP:
Rods + Pistons: ?
Turbo: godspeed 60-1 with small turbine housing
Manifold: ?
Boost: Cannot remember, sub 20
Cams: stock
ECU: nistune
Gas: 93

Engine: s14kadet
WHP: The low graph is the first pull, which is someone elses tune before I retuned the car.

Rods + Pistons: Forged bottom end, cannot remember compression or brand
Turbo: t25
Manifold: stock
Boost: 10-12
Cams: stock
ECU: nistune
Gas: 93

This next graph is nearly identical in setup except the engine is stock, never rebuilt. I could not get it to hold power like the other one. Ka's already do not like t25's but if one really dont like it, you wont be happy with your powerband.
Engine: s13ka24det
WHP:

Rods + Pistons: stock
Turbo: t25
Manifold: stock
Boost: 10-12
Cams: stock
ECU: stock + nistune
Gas:
93

Oh, and I do my tuning at a diesel performance shop, so sometimes we dont remember to switch the tq and hp back on the same scale. So when looking for specific tq or hp numbers at certain rpms make sure you run to the correct side of the graph for the scale. I try to make the hp and tq scale the same when I remember to.

Also keep in mind that these are all on dyno dynamics dynos. Multiply by 1.16 for a number to compare to dynojet numbers since more people are familiar with them if your into comparing.

With a very quick calculation I'd guess 21-22 MPG, I've never worked it out properly.

Wasn't there a google document spreadsheet for this? At least for SRs. If anyone knows of this I'd really like to see. I think I lost the link.

big turbine housing doesn't help...the lower 500whp run though we played with timing a little and if you look it's spooling alot faster (it also didn't help that the avcr was still learning boost)

It's obviously making an infinite amount of power between 4500-4800 RPMs.

The lines don't cross at 5252, which is weird, but that's the sheet that Odotec Okinawa handed out at the time.

Torque conversion is 280.6 ft/lbs
Stock cams?
Oh yeah, you shouldn't have to explain why the tq & hp don't cross at 5252.Cause anyone whom can read a dyno graph knows that, if the scales are not equal on both sides they won't cross at 5252.

^^Yes, stock cams. That turbine was MUCH more fun at 1.3-1.4, but I never got it dynoed after upping the boost.

I am not an expert at reading a dyno (lol obviously). As long as the AFR's are good and the curve is smooth, I am happy

Who, not whom.

Also if the units aren't hp and lb-ft it won't be at 5252. The kgm is a wuss sounding torque unit. "An impressive 38.5 kgm you have there."

It was not a question it was a statement.

Classify "whom" as objective. It is used as the direct object of a verb or the object of a preposition. For example, "She gave the book to whom it belongs." Note that "whom" is the direct object of "gave" and is the object of the preposition "to" in the example sentence.

And the torque is more like 278.3ft/lbs, but yes impressive.

Thank you! I love that turbine; it's currently my spare~

1 kg-m = 7.23301385 ft/lbs. Therefore 38.8kg-m = 280.64 ft/lbs...

Is my math off? Not trying to split hairs.

38.5 would be 278.36
38.8 should be 280.52
just a rough estimate lol!
