My work in progress, boosted v8
This is my chevy v8 build that i started after i pulled my rb25 build. This car has been on the back burner for a while because of other projects.





after i painted the engine bay and new intake and heads





after i started on the exhaust manifolds, new throttle body, elbow and fuel rails









50mm wastegate








still a long way to go, i have to clean up a ton. but i wanted to start it so i threw some old wires and fpr on. a minor tune and fired it up.

















well finally installed the driveshaft and drove the car on a ruff tune and 6 pounds of boost.

I still have a list of things to do but it was nice to finally drive the car.



Getting ready for some wheels and slicks



Break out the heat gun, it helped me out allot. I didn’t want to cut slits and have to reseal the wheel well.


So the metal will stretch if you have the time and energy

God damn. Awesome work man can't wait to see it with the wheels. Sucks the intake sticks out so much though Any plans for fixing that?

yea, im going to remove the 90 degree and make a 15 degree with a low profile elbow. one day.. i still have a lot of odds and ends to go back over, some things were just thrown on so i could drive it. fuel line, fpr , spark plug wires etc....
