currently visiting Japan. what do?
I came here for a wedding in Hokkaido. That's over and now I have a few days to kill while I meander down to my return flight out of Tokyo. I'll be in Sapporo tonight and tomorrow, maybe am extra day there, then will be using my rail pass to get down to Tokyo. Don't want to travel south of Tokyo, would prefer to just do things in Sapporo and Tokyo, maybe one of the other cities along the way.
So, what should I be sure to do? I've been eating some amazing meals, would really like to sight see a bit. Ideas anyone? Thanks in advance.

Are you really telling him to go to Gas Panic and Club 99? I would avoid Roppongi all together.

Akihabara, or electric city deff recommend so much nostalgic ish there its so dope... It also close to Shibuya.
I would also deff recommend Asakusa, very old world. Lots of temples and and shrines its a good experience!

1. Travel to Fukushima
2. Bathe in radioactive cesspool 3. Acquire super powers 4. ... 5. Profit. On a serious note, whatever you do, just make sure to take plenty of pictures to remember it by and enjoy yourself. Japan would be a great place to have a relaxing vacation instead of running around trying to see/do everything.

Shimokitazawa is an awesome up coming town about 10min train ride from Shinjuku. It has lots of culture, bars, restruants, markets ect. Very cool. Yokohama is pretty cool and the nissan museum is there. If you have a car deff check out daikoku futo on any given night after 10pm, you'll be sure to see some cool cars. .
JR line is your friend in tokyo.

Wait, you're taking a train down from Sapporo? Fuck that, takes too damn long. Might as well burn 9,900y and get a Skymart flight down to Haneda.
Depending on what day you'll be in Tokyo, Harajuku is also pretty cool and see all the cosplay. Its not that far away from Shibuya. |
