Of corse you need you gap your plugs i know that the gap for a 89-90 240sx is .042 but I don't now the gap for a DOCH 240sx look in your owners manual and you will get the gap specs.  Some spark plugs come pre gapped so check them and make sure that they are the right gap spec or your will loose performance and fuel milege.

well when I got the BOSCH plugs for my other car I was told not to gap them cause I don't need too.....

the same for these denso plugs?
