flyingfoam.com

You can specify what profile you want, width and chord length.
Was only like $50 for my 65" core, very reasonable.

What are the specs on the one you purchased? I see the custom section, but requires a $200 order minimum.

I've been researching DIY wings for a couple weeks now and have seen that website but never saw that airfoil profile as available. Its the exact one I've been playing around with in Solidworks. Buying it from them might be MUCH easier than hot wire cutting my own. hmmm

Are you bringing the SM car to NEPA events ? I'm trying to get mine together in time for the first Pocono event.

I was actually at the Pocono event last year in the janky af looking multicolor 240 hah. Hoping to attend again this year (and be painted one color).

And I think he may have added that profile because of me or partly because of me, I don't think it was available as one of the standard options back when I emailed him about it at the end of last season.
I'd say definitely just buy it. A lot less work and it's only $44 plus shipping anyway.

Anyone ran these types of wings where they mount to either plastic or fiberglass on OEM/OEM style wing bases? Seems like the downforce would be too much for the wing bases, but I just don't know. Maybe the profile of the wing limits the amount of downforce? This is pretty popular with the Porsche guys.
