Gear oil additive question.
So on my 96' s14 auto ive noticed that its a little rough when it switches gears, don't really wanna buy a new tranny right now since Im planning on throwing a 5speed in it. Does anyone have their own personal opinion on what kind of gear additive that might be useful?

Pretty much any of the non manufacture specific ATF (Automatic Trans Fluids) are going to pretty much going to feel the same. Unlike Manual transmissions where you can play with the gear oil viscositys by puting additives in, you really cant do much with automatic trans. Rebuild it or trash it, thats pretty much it. Good luck

flush fluids, repalce with new. THen again for the cost of ATF you're 1/3 the way there to a 5 sp. swap
