Ok Boys n Girls....Fujita Air, Just Drift and Drifting Pretty are hosting a Practice event up at WSR

Drifting Pretty Open Track Day/Fundraiser

Sunday, June 4th 2006
Willow Springs Raceway
Rosamond, CA
Balcony Track

Background
For the third year in a row, Drifting Pretty is hosting a series of open track events at Willow Springs Raceway in collaboration with Just Drift!. Our 2nd event of the year is on Sunday, June 4th at the Balcony Track at the Willow Springs Raceway. This event is for beginner and intermediate drivers. Many experienced male and female instructors will be on hand to assist drivers. This event will cater to first-timers. The morning will have a j-turn course and a skid-pad. Later in the day we will have open practice on the track.

No tandem practice allowed, no advanced drivers.

Registration Information
Entry Fees $110 for non-DP members.
Drivers will be provided a complimentary lunch courtesy of Fujita Air.

Any and all proceeds will go to the Drifting Pretty Program, a not-for-profit organization for the advancement of women in motorsports.

To register, please make a check/money order (payable to Nadine Toyoda) or paypal ([email protected]).

Hold on. I was thinking more about the 6/17 event. Looks like its going to be more compitition than open track? Anyone with more info on that? I don't want to go all the way down there for a half day of J-turns, so the 6/04 event is a no go for me.

I guess this is tentative depending on the turnout for the practice. The one on the 4th is a fundraiser if you will for the one on the 17th. I will get with Nadine and get more details later today for yas.

Pretty sure you can.I think there is an admission fee though.
Plus iirc the girls will be selling cookies n stuff...

Also, after talking to Nadine @ 2am...this is what I got out of her;(if it is wrong sorry)...

They are going to have a different run group for intermediate/advanced drivers....They need some luv. Any other questions more in regards to the event, please e-mail her [email protected]
