Also skated with Tony Cervantes (for you zero fans out there) now that I remember he owes me two bucks..... anyways, he lived across the street from my friend and also went to whittier skate park a lot

I still skate or tryingto get back into it, not nearly as good as used to be but i can get down still.
I havent seriously skated since 2004-2005ish.

Now that im out of it, it sure is crazy seeing friends and people you grew up with turning pro and getting signed on all these companies, getting paid to travel the world.
Favorite companies?... too many and it changed as I grew up.
always been down for chocolate/girl/any of the kayo corp stuff.
When i was a kid i used to skate Shortys, Flip, or whatever i could get my hands on.
Favorite shoes.
circa cx201 super old.
mark appleyard pro models
es accel
the basketball looking koston 3s
ipath grasshoppers, cats.
dc mantecas, avatars.
Adidas superstars and Stan smiths.
I eventually ended up skating mostly Nike Dunks and Blazers..
one of my friends was pro for nike so he gave me mad shoes,
still skate nikes.

Now I rock mostly PLAN B, GIRL CHOCOLATE, any of the Kayo corp stuff(DGK, ORGANIKA, Expedition etc)
one of my friends turned pro for Expedition recently, so I like to support him.

i skated for a little over 5 years....too many injuries....broke a lot of wood....moved on to cars....now I brake bodykits.

There's an old transworld Circa tour video in Europe I think, he was pretty sick in it too.

Ahhh, skating. My first love haha. Been at it for a solid 12 years at this point, haha. I'm a pretty certifiable adult now, with a wife, kids and mortgage, but I still try and skate a couple times a week.

I generally buy shop boards, or get freebies from friends who are still good and still sponsored haha. I guess if I bought a pro board, it would be a kayo. All the old dudes are cool as fuck on that team, and would always hook me up as a little kid in sf.

Trucks would be indys, haven't had anything else in 10 years.

Wheels, whatever. Shoes, addidas buiznetz at the moment.

At the "rumble in the suites" trade show, fkd gave me a box of bearings like 6 years ago. On my last set, haha.

To all those dudes saying they haven't skated in years, give it another shot! Shit's fun... Go find a mini ramp, you can learn like 5 tricks a day in no time. My buddy started akating at 38, and he kills the mini and the bowl.

I appologize for the rant, haha.

watched the Z boys skate in a pool over a neighbors wall. i was hooked

skated on a team in the late 70's/early 80's.

still prefer vertical over street.

built many, many ramps...
