Swedish Nissan 200sx S13 "Type-X" streetdrifter
Hi guys!
So I thought it maybe was time to go global with my S13 build! haha I want to start off this story by ending an old one, my Impreza STi build. I'm really proud of how good that car turned out in the end! And see it published on pages like StanceNation (5 times too lol) was a dream come true! But after an awesome summer with that it was time to move on to bigger dreams! An S13 has always been a dreamcar, people call my crazy but I dont give a shit lol. So I sold the STi to an friend who will threat it right and bought myself a 1989 Nissan 200sx S13, pretty stock and with a boring CA18det in it. Took it for a spin around the block and then it was straight into the garage! That's what we managed the first night, then it was time to hit the drawing board and start making some plans! And well, here is the specs: Engine and drivetrain: Engine and gearbox from and -95 S14, SR20det that is. Stress Borred Block ACL Calico Rod Barings ACL Calico Main Bearings ARP Head Studs CP PISTON 86,5MM “Oversize” Eagel Rods Brian Crower intake Camchaft steg2, "264" Brian Crower exhaust Camshaft steg2, "264" Brian Crower harder valve springs Greddy Rocker arm stoppers 1,5mm Cometic Headgasket Garrett GT2871R-15 with internal wastegate (will be changed) Hard Race engine mounts HKS OIL Catch Tank Front mount intercooler Driftworks radiator with 12" electric fan Apexi open air filter Z32 Turbo airflowmeter Greddy Oilcooler Greddy Type-R BOV SARD 850CC Injectors Apexi power fc + datalogit etc etc etc.. With this setup it maxed out the turbo at 410whp @ 1,35bar on E85. Turbo will be changed and the plans is like 500hp to the wheels! Chassie and brakes: Driftworks CS2 (HSD) coilovers Driftworks Geomaster 2 knuckles with rack spacers Driftworks camber, toe, caster and traction rods all around Driftworks front and rear adjustable lower arms Tein Strengthened Nissan Tie Rods & Ends Driftworks steering rack boot kit Driftworks solid subframe bushes Driftworks rear upright and control arm poly bushes Driftworks rear lower arm poly bushes Driftworks poly gearbox mount Driftworks stainless steering bush Oilcooler to the power steering New 5x114,3 hubs all around Skyline and 300ZX brakes all around Interior: Bride Zeta III FRP for me FK seat or something for the passenger Nardi 350mm leather wheel with DW snap-off Bride fabric on some parts Multipoint cage from CustomCagesUK etc etc.. Rims and tires: Volk TE37 18x9,5" et12 all around with 205/35-18 (I think) Those will be for the street, looking for some XXR's for the track Body: Magic Aero Club Series 1.0 bodykitt. This shit is awesome, an improved Type-X kit I would say that comes with all the stock monts etc etc. EPIC! Kouki taillights of course with an black centerpiece Looking for some ganador mirrors, or else I'll roll with stock Custom front tubs Paint will be some dark grey, not 100% sure yet.. The build has been on for 2months now.. time to get you guys up to date! /Totte |

And then the bodywork continued..
Decided that I should build tubs to, something like this! So I started cutting.. Rusty floor, need some attention! And well thats where we are today! Now I'm off to the garage to do some electrics so I cant start welding in some fresh metal and do the tubs! /Totte |

Been a couple of busy days in the garage now.. but the tubs are coming along nicely!
Hopefully I will have them fully welded by tomorrow so I can get started on fixing all the rust so I can leave the car to Fastcar Tuning & Performance to get the cage fitted! Hopefully the car will get painted next month /Totte |

The metal fabrication is slowly getting there..
But today I took a break from that to sand blast some stuff to the engine and try out the wrinkle paint I bought. Cool shit! But the next few days will be fabrication days, more pics coming! /Totte |

Damn! All the way apart. I should be glad I didn't have these rust problems. Looks like you got it handled though. Keep it up.

Thanks guys! Dropping a bether update with more pics when I get the time
Well you can chose what you want when ordering a Magic Aero bodykit. I went with Magic-Original: Entry level impact resistance FRP, comprising fibreglass chopped strand, Diolen polyester cloth and my own resin blend offering improved elongation break, tenacity and impact resistance. Over standard fibreglass this construction produces a superior part. Then you have 2 other ways but I went with the cheap one because.. well I think that I'll brake a kit or two while drifting so didnt want to spend so much money on it! Whats nice with this kit, the Magic Aero Club series V 1.0 is this: *extended skirts 15mm over stock and made in one piece *De number plated front bumper *Lip extended 10mm over stock *Spoiler extended 20cm over stock *The rear lip was designed from scratch So this actually looks waaaay bether then a Nissan OEM Type-X aero!
