Update Bitches!!!
So Im putting the engine fusebox behind the dash where the ac/heater box were so i can keep the engine bay clean. So i extended the headlight/corner light wiring as well as the bmc wiring and fan wiring. After 5-6hrs of straight cutting and soldering i finally finished the harness. (look beyond the objects to see what this resembles lol) I figured out that since im putting the fusbox right by the heater hose holes i can route the lower engine harness through the holes and connect it to the fusebox with out extending anything, also that means my battery will be going right up there as well. Main Chassis harness in, pedals and steering column in as well. Dropped the full rear susp and started tearing it apart Rubber coated the rear wells: Solid subframe bushing install: Stock bushings coming out: Finally all of them were out, thanks to the recip. saw. Primer The same "Sunrise Red" Paint Thanks to the press at my schools auto shop, bushings are in! Installed: Diff is in! Sweet avid motor mounts are on...motor might be going in tomorrow... Also for those who spend the $60 on spl eccentric bolt lockout kits, i must say that that is a waste of money, i took my stock eccentric bolt to "nuts and bolts" and found the perfect sized washers, exact same sized 10.9 grade bolt, and cool blue nylon lock nuts for $11 total... Also wanted to say that some of you guys should buy my stuff: http://zilvia.net/f/sale-items/43987...ml#post4574880 |

Two updates in row...rare but nice!
So yesterday i put all my rear suspension bolts and rear brake hardware in my vibrating tumbler and after 18 hours...they looked like they had been sandblasted lol I put the stock LCA and knuckles back on as well as my pbm arms and fortune auto coils: Heres a nice view from the ground: Since i woke up late thats all i got done today, well except that i bought a new exhaust manifold gasket, copper sealer, and some zipties to prepare to drop in the motor tomorrow!!! also i put in my replica bride seat to see how it would look, but it is up for sale (KCDrift.com • View topic - (1) Bride Zeta 3 Rep. in Black Gradation) if anyone is interested pm me now! anyways heres the pics: Stay Tuned, I should have another good sized update tomorrow. Another Update - 3.15.12
Today i got up early (10:30 am...lol) went to town on this beast: Installed the new exhaust manifold gasket with some copper coat: I then installed a new pilot bearing in the sr and a new throwout bearing in the tranny and proceeded to the install of the motor. I like installing the tranny separately because its easier to scratch the paint when installing them together. so i proceeded to install the tranny...on the floor...alone...with a jack = pimp status... Once the tranny was on and ready to bolt down i went home and got the avid mount to find out that the holes are too small on the stock crossmember??? no problem tho, i drilled the holes alittle and BOOM! Heres a sneak peak of my new drift spares...can anyone guess what they are??? I also hit the oem heat shield with a wire wheel on my drill and it looks...well not that great, i might paint it white but idk yet I also worked inside the car on plug in all the wires and ziptie-ing them in place. Ill finish up the wiring tomorrow, test fit the dash, and install other engine parts that have been waiting in my room lol. Heres where i ended today around 5:30: |

Small update today!
Friday i didnt even go to work on the car just because i didnt feel like it, Today i did minimal stuff including the following: Installed my oil cooler setup, not sure where its gonna go but ill decide that once the rest of the car is put together. Installed the chasebays overflow tank, but im not sure this is exactly where its gonna go, but ill decide once the car is all together. Installed the chasebays powersteering res. (again not sure if it will go here, since it might hit the hmic piping, but i will make changes if needed) Installed my Chasebays clutch line and slave cyl. Installed my Tomei Oil Pan, and i must say that my tomei oil pan was amazingly good quality, i mean the welds, hardware, even the packaging was top notch. They definitely have the best stuff when it comes to anything they make. Theyre Rocker arm stoppers are packaged really well as well, and the quality is there. anyways heres the pics. Ugly Stock Pan Ugly Stock Pan comes off: Nicely Packaged Tomei pan The tomei pan even comes with instructions and STICKERS!!! And BOOM, Looks 1000 times better now: Also got a free set of 245/40/18s for the 350z, and ill be taking the 235/40/18s that are on the Z right now, off and put those on the new wheels that i will be ordering for my s14. Why No Passenger seat...BECAUSE RACECAR! STAY TUNED! |

The car is done......
April Fools anyways lets go back to Wednesday of last week, i cam home after school and i found these Im planning on either painting them white (since i have abunch of left over piant from when i painted my car or powder coat them white since i have a buddy that does it locally. idk yet. I finally went ahead and installed the hmic core, i tried cutting as little as i needed too. but i may have cut twice but measured once I also bolted up the flex cobra, it fit perfectly. I also installed all of the sensors for my greddy gauges, including the water temp sensor on the upper rad hose and the oil pressure sensor on the oil block: Pic of engine bay: Ive been stocking up on tires, and i finally got some that are the right size for my oz drift spares, so of course i installed them. I threw the front coils on just for kicks: I cut my dash to fit the cage, i may have cut too much but itll get fixed when i send it to my interior guy to recover the dash. Also alittle update on the daily, i recently bought a short hub for the z so i can use the vertex wheel on the z when im not driving the 240. i think i need a set of black bolts tho. Stay Tuned |

Small Update,
Today i went to the shop with one of my 527s and my lug nuts to see how the car will look *if* i left the wheels black: safe to say that black could look just as good as white if i wasnt bias to white wheels as much. heres my inspiration for white 527s and red mutekis' also today i painted the spark plug cover white, since i wasnt feeling the wrinkle red, so now its wrinkle white and since i have a shit load of high heat copper gasket....lol...i decided to paint my heat shield with it and then spray my "flame proof" stain clear over it. im not sure how long it would last but for now i think it looks good. but im probably gonna sandblast it and paint it with real paint later. |
