out of curiosity, how well will that gold powder coating hold up to the heat of the engine? will the colour chip off or is it good and bonded?

This build reminds me of when we did the first 1J-S13 swap in the country......Mario's was the same color, same 1J too!.......Good luck man!....oh yeah the bling block rules too.

That's a lot of space... are there supposed to be heater lines running behind there or something? Or did the maker of the mounts have to leave that space so the downpipe would clear?
What mounts are those?

jealous... i want a y pipe... that one actually looks like its for a soarer too... can't figure out for the life of me why the made a different downpipe for the jza70/jzx90/jzz30 *sigh*
if you dont mind me asking, where did you get your's (y-pipe) Loving the build. Hope its on the road soon

now since the turbos are on the opposite side of the motor as say, a nissan engine, where do you run the exhaust?

You will have trouble fitting the radiator and fans in there with it sitting in that position. I have ruckus mounts on mine which puts the engine back pretty far but I had to cut about 1/2" off the lower heater core stub to get it to fit with the twins. Back to the radiator though, I only have 1/4" between the waterpump pulley and fans....PLUS....I have my radiator pulled closer to the core support with custom upper mounts.
