Megan Racing Coilovers - S13
Hey guys first of sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong section. Ok so the deal is I bought Megan Coilovers for my S13. I already maxed out the front coils with all the collars on. Is this the correct height for it being maxed out or they should be lower then this? This is for the front only the rear I have alot to play with still. Thanks

whats size are your wheels?
these are mine, megan track coilovers 17x7 215/45 the rears i can still adjust them about 2 in. and the front another 1/2 did you adjust them correctly. you can always remove the 2 locking perks, since the main one will be sitting on top of the collar. |

Mine are 17x8 235/40. Yours is much lower then mine, mine are the Megan Streets. Is there a correct way to adjust them?
Also my friend has the same coils and his wheel size is 17x9 with a 235/45 tire and his coupe is as low as yours, and he has all the collars on.. |

how did u adjust it???..
did you just adjust the spring seats? or the shock tubing down the collars? refer to this. it'll help you understand full coilovers vs. traditional coilovers. [ PR ] CUSCO |

I did tighten a little bit the spring sits because the springs were a little bit loose when i first bought them. But I lowered it by the shock tubing down the collars.

maybe magen streets doesnt go as low as megan tracks???
but as long as your shock travel has plenty of room, you're good. maybe remove the 2 locking perks. just leave the spring seat. thats about a good 1/2 in. |

I didn't know there were two "Megan Racing" branded variations of the BC design, what are the differences?

there is actually 4 different styles of megan coilovers, LP which are the luxury series, had them on my is300 loved them for daily driving and went super low, there are streets, tracks and now a new one that was recently released which run 1200-1400 dont know much info on them....variations bewtween the other 3 are just spring stiffness/spring rates.
