KA Need help removing an old fuel injector

So I need to replace my fuel injectors but..3 of the 4 injectors are stuck and being difficult. I don't have a fuel injector puller and none of the auto stores in my area have one in stock or rent one out.

Maybe I'm trying to remove it wrong..
Any suggestions?
Can someone show me a video or pictures how to remove the fuel injectors?

greatly appreciate it. thanks~

^don't do this... you're injector is going to hate you.

Put the two screws back in the rail, without the cap, and use two small flat blade screw drivers to pry off of them, from the indention's on the side of the injector. They'll pop right out.

err..i'll try that.
btw, is there any tool i can use to remove these injectors to make it easier?
the injectors are REALLY in there. i've already cracked the plastic that holds the connector.

^there might be but that's the common removal process. You shouldn't be putting any force on the connector.

pb blast, then get a set of pliers that can grip the cap area. Needle noses are a joke. swivle back and forth for roughly 30 seconds and you should see the injector pop up out of the rail slightly. then twist and pull up, should be a 5 minute process.

i read another "guide" that said to use a flat head screwdriver underneath the connector part...ended up putting a crack in it. doesn't matter, getting rid of the fuel injector anyways. i have a new set i want to put in.

is there a complete walk-through video or write-up with pictures somewhere? i can't seem to find a decent write-up. people just keep saying remove this, remove that...im not a mechanic so i have no idea what this or that is..and theres never any pictures.

maybe i just haven't found the right one..

+1 on the screwdriver method. i can have 4 injectors out and in under 5 min.

just spin the injector till the you can get leverage between the indentation on the injector and the rail, and pry up. should pop out.

when i first had to do it, this is what i read.
"Heres what you do. Rotate your injector so that the plug end is directly overtop of the screw holes. This gives you an extra half inch or so to pry against. There is a lip on the underside of the plug thats meant for removing the injector. Take a large flatblade screw driver, or whatever, make sure it fits under that lip. Rotate your screw driver while its completely underneath that lip by turning your wrists, forcing one edge of the 'blade' onto the fuel rail and the other end up into the injector. They pop right out dude."

trust me after you do this once or twice it gets REAL easy.
