I'll probably be out there... I'll be running in the DSP class. Dennis and Peggy Hale are the ones who hosts the Norcal UFO autocross, and they are really cool people. I first got into autocrossing in 2001 when they did the autocross school at DeAnza College. Ever since then, I've been going to their autocross events, as well as SCCA. Now that I started going to drift events beginning of this year, I haven't been going to autocross events often as I used to, but I still try to make it nonetheless.

Yeah, I got a new bumper, as well as the entire kit... Ings+1 D-spec. I've actually never been to any NorCal drift events... I've been driving down to SoCal once every month or two to go to drift events at Willow Springs Raceway. Not only have I been going to drift events, but track days as well at Streets of Willow and Big Willow. I've also drifted at California Speedway when Naoki Kobayashi of Drift Day still had it beginning of this year (I've been to Drift Day 30, 31, and 3D). The 3D event was the last event at California Speedway. The 3D event was pretty cool, because it mixed drag racing, drift, and autocross in one course. They checked how fast you were going at the end of the straight with a radar gun, then soon after the long straightaway, you have to transition into drifting mode because a 3rd gear sweeper, plus 4-5 additional 2nd gear corners were coming up, which were judged by Taka Aono, Alex Pfieffer, and someone else (I forgot his name). After you go through the drift portion of the course, then you have to transition into autocross mode because you were timed. Then they average all three portion of the course into a score. It was a cool event. |

its at the marina airport, off reservation road. I've run there the last 2 events, great people and good times. however sundays are usually packed, so I like to go on saturday, when theres less cars because after all the brackets are done you can do dollar fun runs!!! plus there is a handful of 240s out there.
