first "mod" eh? thats weird.. i can strangely remember my first "mod" being the exact Grex Shift Knob..haha... but it was a little too bling for me.. so i jus switched over to a Nismo GT.
so anyway.. gettin the stock knob off is a bitch.. jus try to rotate it counterclockwise with all your might.. and eventually itll start to come off... 15 year old shift knobs tend to get stuck to the shifter from years of jus sitting there.. when ur pulling out the knob.. be sure not to put too much stress on ur shifter.. in other words.. jus rotate the knob without pulling on the entire shifter itself... other than that.. its jus a 2 min install... |

Thanks you guys I was able to remove that old stock shift knob without a tired arm by useing a vise grip that I had laying around and that sucker came right off just like nothing after a while of twisting the thing for a few seconds. I'll probably be posting some pic's of my project 180Sx a bit later on so stay tuned.
Once again thanks for the help. ![]() |
