Nissan Juke Coming To Freak America Out With Its Foreignness [Geneva Motor Show]
02-10-2010 11:15 AM
The Nissan Juke crossover will slot in below the Nissan Rogue in the U.S. lineup later this year and is either the next sporty, exciting off-road runabout or something as awkward as the Isuzu Vehicross without the performance. Despite its polarizing looks and, we're sure, underwhelming powertrain, this isn't a bad idea. We've been waiting for an automaker to nut up and give us a small SUV-like crossover that isn't the Freelander. Since we lack details we can be excited about it (AWD, VQ please?) until the Geneva Motor Show when it debuts and the New York Auto Show when our dreams are crushed. More... |

why can't they just bring a jdm car over? is that car going to be sold in japan? or japan "style" for american market? 70+% of sales will be from women, just like the crv, the rav4 and the mustang.
I can't wait until people put those flares on other cars... maybe it should be called joke instead of juke. |

I hope we get the CDI Europe is getting. Supposed to be a sporty crossover so we will probably be stuck with the shitty 2.5L.

sometimes its easier/cheaper/faster to modify a car to dot standards rather than make a whole new car with new parts/tooling etc.
but now since airbags need to be standard, side airbags and whatnot... I guess it is too much work to modify an existing model. Someone photochop that thing already... |
