Subframe bushing problem

I sent my subframe to a shop to get the bushings taken out but in the process they removed a metal ring that was suppose to hold the new energy suspension subframe bushing in place. Any suggestions to what I should do now? I heard that the nismo ones come as a complete unit I just have to have it pressed in? but I just got these energy suspension subframe bushings

Aren't ES subframe bushings INSERTS and not replacements?

You don't have to remove the OEM bushings. The ES bushings are put in there to supplement the OEM ones.

Are you talking about rings the bolts go through before the bushings? I would go to a wrecking yard or Nissan dealer. Some guys here may have them, especially if they are fully parting out a car. Check with them.

Nah man, I'm talking about the ring that was suppose to hold the bushing in place. Something like this picture

Its like the bushing is to small for the subframe.... I thought it was suppose to have a tight feel to it. Now here is mine when I got it back. i can install the bushings by hand and spin them.

The ES kit uses the OE steel sleeve. There's no way to get them without buying new bushings, which I don't believe are available through the dealer. Check on it but you may have to find another subframe.

to the op, if your car is going to be strictly track in 2-3 weeks it may not be a bad choice to go with solids subframe bushings.

You can get poly bushes that don't need the metal ring. On my 180sx, when I did the subframe bushes I used these,
Poly Subframe Bushes - Nissan
They fit into the bare hole without the metal sleeve from the old bush.

Might be worth e-mailing to see how much how much they would be shipped to the USA
