There is no need to cut anything. The idea of a tapered shank it that it does seat in the insert so it is perfect that it did. Using the correct tools will ensure there are no issues removing it. Ie. http://www.oem-tools.com/products/show/25297

It does not but the Australian Dollar is at a 6 year low so when converted the price is quite a bit less than it was a year ago.
