Lower Harness Questions
I've got some questions regarding my lower harness. If it makes a difference it's from an '89 KA24E.
I'm wiring this up to an RB25 tranny. The RB tranny doesn't have a 5th gear sensor (as opposed to the KA) and i'm doing away with the power steering sensor. MY question: can i completely delete this plug? The yellow/green wire is the 5th gear sensor i believe, the orange wire is the PS pressure sensor, and i'm a little unsure about the black and red wires. I think they went to an EGR sensor on the KA. |

that's what i'm asking.......
I'm not 100% on the black & red/blue wire....can't seem to find any pinouts or wiring diagrams of the lower harness. There's like 3 plugs that are the exact same so it's hard to determine which one it is, but i think it went to an EGR sensor of some kind. Just need verification that that's what it is, and i'll get rid of it. |

I'm drawing a blank, but it's not EGR.
If you have the alternator, starter, and VSS wiring hooked up, you're done. You don't need anything else on the lower harness.
