No Overdrive!!!

just replaced transmission and still not shifting into overdrive i have to really floor it to engage it will only engage around 75 mph and i replaced tps i unplugged rev sensor what else could it be??? need help

Make sure your overdrive button is clicked.

EDIT: You UNPLUGGED the rev sensor? Why? Try replacing it, if it's not working.

the shifter is working O/D light comes on and off when i press the button

Yeah I know how that goes. I've got a 5-speed in the garage and I just need the master, slave, some lines, and a clutch pedal.

Have you tried replacing the rev sensor, though?

well i cant find any rev sensors at dealers or any place and its really rare to find 240 at the local junk yard

Bam!

SENSOR ASSY-REVOLUTION - 240SX (S13) 1989-1994 :: Nissan Parts, NISMO and Nissan Accessories - Courtesyparts.com

Bend over, it's $133. I'm assuming you have an S13, although I don't see why it'd matter between S13s and S14s.

To replace it:

So that means your revolution sensor is F'd. And replacing it is kinda annoying. You have to undo the carrier bearing on the drive shaft, undo the trans mount and replace the sensor on the driver's side on the top of the trans.

well i replaced the revolution sensor and still no luck im thinking its the ecu now
