if you let the seatbelt go back, you can unplug the wire to the motor and it will stay in the back postion.

Take off the plastic trim that goes under the quarter glasses. Shut the doors with the key on, then unplug the motor. And your done. IF you can not do that then i dunno

yeah that box underneath the console is the computer for the power seat belts.....what do you mean they wont go back at all???aren't you trying to make them stay at the back so they dont move at all???

do this:

close all doors then turn the key to the "ON" position wait for the belts to go fully to the back and then unplug the connectors from the motor both sides if want both of them not to move ever....turn ignition off and youll be good to go.....

another one is to get s14 front seat belts and install it on ur car...will need modding on panels unless you get 180sx panels...

Had this same problem not long ago...apparently behind the rear side trim you can manually rotate the motor with a hex key...you have to remember to unplug the controller though..

wooopsss..mis-read your post......then check motor connections and computer connections and i cant recall if there is a fuse for the power seat belt....you can also do what 8869muscle said....with the panels installed there should be round covering you can take that out and you should be able to get the hex without taking panels out...

The rear quarter panel has a small round plug that pops off to access the motor. Use an M5 hex key and manually turn the motor to move the belt mechanism. Then take it to a dealer and have it warrantied.

The same thing happened to me bro. You gotta put some elbow grease in it and pull that ish back while the car is off. then pull the plug and forget about it.

OR..

Our cars have a lifetime warranty on seat belts. If you go to a Nissan service center at a dealership, they will inspect it and order new motors, tracks for FREEEEEEEE!!!

but I did option one.

Another option is the S14 seatbelt conversion. I did that to my S13 after the thing tried to kill me when I had to open the door to reach a keypad for my gated community.

...you mean at the dealer?

I went first thing in the a.m. and had them inspect it... took like 2-3 hours.

then they told me they couldn't tell if it was the motor or the track so they were ordering both from Japan and the would be there in a couple weeks...

in the meantime, some dickhead pig gave me a no seatbelt ticket even though I had the hip belt on...$100, and i heard it triples if you get a second.

So thats why I just pulled it back and unplugged the brain.
