Wondering what everyone thought on this setup:
S14 - Coilovers with a mild drop. Varrstoens 2.2.1 - 18x9.5 +12 225/40/18 (Front) 18.10.5 +15 245/40/18 (Rear) Would any fender work be needed? I know camber places a part, how much camber do you think I would need? Would there by any understeer? Thanks. |

You could run a 15mm spacer on top of that depending on your tire sizes.

That should fit your S14A fine with 225/40s. You just need to roll your fenders (flatten the fender lip).

Guy in there running the 9.75 +15 (effective) which is almost the same as your setup with 15mm spacers 8.75 +5 (effective) As far as outer clearance anyway. |

Anyone running 9.5-10j up front with max angle knuckles? I'm looking to do that but I'm not sure if I'm going to run into clearance issues w lca or tie rods. My knuckles aren't installed yet so I can't really measure or get a sense of how it will work out.
Thanks |

IMO it will look a little funny with more stretch in the rear. If I were doing 245's in the rear I would do a 235 in the fronts both being 35 for the profile. The stretch would be even for the most part and a 40 is just too tall again just my opinion. Also depends on what chassis you have.

With 50mm overs, the rear will need spacers most likely, and you will have miles of space on the front. I'm not sure you can get spacers big enough to make the front flush with 50mm overs. Which at the end of the day won't matter since you aren't low enough to have any kind of fitment anyway. |

So if i choose profile 40 with 245, when the tyre stretch the profile will be little lower? I bought them with 285/45 the car looks like a truck with those tyres |

I've read through this whole thread just want some reassurance before I purchase.
Current setup: 16x8 (+10 or +20 not sure..) all around 195/50 ziexs Wanted: 17x9 +12 up front running a 215/40 17x9.5 +12 in rear, should I run a 215/40 or a 215/45? As you can see car has roll and slight pull, runs quite a bit of camber as well. Just want to make sure everything will fit fine, and the car is my daily. |

You could run a 45 series but that wouldn't be cool-looking now would it? Plus for a daily, I would be a tad bit more confident going a 225/235 out in the rear. |

9" +18 (20mm spacers) 10" +18 (20mm spacers) See the difference & compensate with new spacers. Now go and do the math. |

That is correct. When the tire stretches, the lower profile will be even lower when stretched. I would go with a 35 but thats just my preference.

hey i want to buy xxr 527's and i want 17x8.25 [+25mm] in the front.. it honestly looks like anything bigger than stock will rub the springs..but i want to know if it will or not.. also in the back i want 17x9.75 [+25mm] . i would want 18's.. but unless i do a 5 lug swap they dont make the 527's in 5 lug with 18".
