s13 240SX Pop up Healight issues

Hey everyone Im new to the Zilivia forums. I recently purchased my 3rd 240. This ones a coupe the last 2 were hatch-backs. Ive had a lot of issues Ive had to fix with this car. The latest latest issue Im having trouble with is the pop up healights arent doing their job. popping up! lol. I bought new headlight motors (waste of 200 bucks), I looked at all the relays and I think they're all working. Ive gotten the passenger side light to move but not up and down all the time. I hit the button and it moves down. Once I manually return it to the up position It will move back down and nothing more. Im trying to get both to work! Also I have low beams but no high beams. I bought new bulbs too. Any suggestions to help me get rid of this problem for good? I'd appreciate it.

Multi function switch. When you press the button to make your headlights go up and down does the switch click in and stay at a pressed position or pop back out the where it was originally?

Check the arms from the motors to the headlight housings and make sure they're adjusted correctly. On my 89 they were adjusted too far out and they wouldn't push the headlights up. They were being pushed more like straight forward. But that's just one of the issue I had with mine.

Okay so I followed the link Soryu posted and I followed every instruction down to the letter. Now my high beams work but every now and then they wont. My headlights still wont pop up or down. I did adjust the arms and made sure they were working smoothly. I took apart the switch that makes the motors go up and down found nothing wrong. Im thinking to replace all 4 relays. Yea the shotgun approach. If anything else comes up Ill post it on the thread.
