with AEM short ram Air intake/

Are you asking becasuue of a fitment issue with the stock one? If so I wouldnt know.

If you asking if another one will give you better performance then you really just need to stick with the stock unit. Your computer is programmed for that one and you cant just go changing something like that with a new one.

I'v eseen guys with KA-T's runnign stock MAFs. Stock all the way, esp for a car with no real mods.

Stupid question, go read a book please. The MAF is not an upgradeable part without tuning and is pointless to upgrade until you've reached it's maximum level, which is way beyond an intake. The OE MAF is good for 8-9psi of boost so virtually nothing NA you plan to do won't require changing it.
