mahle pistons
i recently built my sr with mahle pistons and from what i have read in other forums that some people have had problems with mahle pistons hitting the oil squiter. i havent got a to firing up my freshly built sr, and i hope i dont have this problem.
i checked clearence before assembling the whole bock and it was fine. im wondering if anyone else has had this problem, if so what did you do to fix it? the piston are alot shorter than stock so it would seem to be fine and they are also alot lighter.

guess ur gonna have to install them and see where they would hit.. if u can get away with shimming the squirters a couple mm to get extra clearance that would be the way... other wise u might have to notch the piston bottom a little bit with a die grinder...... but be smooth when using that tool not to gouge the shit out of everything.... gonna have to do it for all the pistons if u do use that route...
but see if u can shim the squirters first.
