so let me start by saying i have the following products from isis...
-rucas/rear toe
-oil filter relocation
-exhaust
AND I COULDNT BE HAPPIER WITH THEM...the oil pan...different story.

-first impressions...right out of the box i noticed imperfections in the casting around the flange area specifically. it had some thin metal hanging from the flange into the pan. i was optimistic and figured why pay greddy 200 bucks more to do what i can do with 10min and a dremmel. overall not bad though, i've owned the greddy one and honestly they looked/felt about the same (as far as people claiming the isis to be "porous" which i discovered to be not true)

-cleaned up the flange and began to install the baffles...first one..installed perfect. second one, the baffle holes barely lined up with the holes on the pan resulting in a baffle that would barely swing open...i resolved this with a dremmel...STILL optimistic considering what i payed with the great deal i received from ken @ enjuku.

-ok so its all cleaned up and rtv'd and ready for install...IMMEDIATLEY after lining up the bolts i knew something was wrong...something was preventing the flange from the oil pan to sit flush with the engine...one side would sit flush and the other would have about .5" gap...if i pushed the gapped side flush...the flush side would have a gap. i immediatley thought it might have something to do with the new strainer i installed so i reached for the oem pan and it fit perfectly. upon further review it seemed that the baffle plate (the one that bolts on afte the strainer) was causing the issue. i thought perhaps it was just a faulty pan and maybe just shit luck on my part. i jumped on faithful old zilvia and began harrassing members that i read had the isis oil pan...ALL OF THEM SAID THE SAME THING IN ORDER TO MAKE THE ISIS OIL PAN FIT, YOU MUST REMOVE THE MAIN BAFFLE BENEATH THE STRAINER. i toyed with the idea for a few minutes, hell i even posted a thread in tech section. but after i really pondered it, thats retarded and i just finished prepping my oem pan to go back on.

IN SHORT:
-isis oil pan 100.00-120.00
-surprisingly well casting
-flange area needed to be cleaned up with dremmel b4 i would feel comfortable installing
-baffle doors needed to be cleaned up with dremmel in order for them to swing freely and not get stuck
-oil pan WILL NOT fit unless you remove main baffle thing that sits above oil pan

FINAL VERDICT:
i chose to go back to an oem pan because i didnt like the idea of my engine oil splashing freely about and not in the pan (i.e. availible to strainer). in closing 4/5 isis products that i have owned have been LIGHTYEARS beyond what i expected...i'm sure this is just a slight complication and isis will correct this once enjuku informs them of this. i just wish this information was made availible BEFORE i purchased this item as it would have saved my money and enjuku racings time. i've informed ken of the problem and we'll see what he says but i'm sure he'll resolve it, matter of fact i'm not even worried because i know ken stands by his company/products.

I installed an after market oil pan on a customers car a few years back, it wasn't ISIS, or greddy, just some knock off casting of the greddy. Had the same problem you had, but as opposed to removing the so called splash shield, I just took a hammer and bent the part that was hitting the oil pan. No fitment problems after that.

i tried rubber maletting the edge that was hitting but its just too much. i didnt really want to start cutting it all up...for now i'm just going to rock the stock one.

rubber mallet? how about a 5 lb. hand sledge? That seems to get work done quicker. Your just bending a flange here, nothing too complicated.

well how long ago was this? Did u just purchase the oil pan, i ORDERED MINE A FEW DAYS AGO! I would like to know maybe i can cancel my order or even change it out!!!!

Had the same problem you had, but as opposed to removing the so called splash shield, I just took a hammer and bent the part that was hitting the oil pan. No fitment problems after that.
