make the kit fit right, especially front, and get some correct offset wheels or spacers.

Damn, get a chick on here with a modded car and folks start playing topsy, dicky, and "get my boyfriend after you snizzel" Jeeze.
Car looks good, I prefer a sleeper stock look with wider fenders to accomidate fat rubber that is needed so you don't wipe it out. HP to the road, low profile that sticks and driving lessons. That is all their is. The rest is posing. |

Revert to stock, and learn to drive. If you want a cute car, get a civic.

there's nothing wrong with having a fixed up car...you don't need a stock car to learn how to drive either. you never know...i may be a better driver than you! |

Who knows Mike, maybe we'll get her to go touge when we go to Norcal and YOU can find a gaurdrail for it... Oh wait, my car is the only one you would be putting into a rail. Yeah since this thread turned into a lets gather 'round the new girl and tell her to take her clothes off (or was that just Noah and Scott) I want to give MY opinion. (I love this part). IT LOOKS GOOD... for Dousan to poop on! |

I don't like the kit or the wheels.
But its your car. Do whatever makes you happy with it. As far as "what's next," it all depends on wha you wanna do with the car, like a couple other people pointed out... Welcome to our dysfunctional family. Good luck |

My suggestions: Wheel spacers all 'round and negative camber up front (so that you can't see the front of the sideskirt looking straight down the side of the body), lower it another inch (as long as you don't cut springs, I don't care how you do it) ... hmmm what "mods" do you have on it now? If you list, maybe we can make suggestions. LSD and track time would also be on my list... if you don't already have them. |

i doubt ur a better driver then sykik, just based on what i've read on this forum. and you're right, there's nothing wrong with having a fixed up car; but plz understand that people's defintions of 'fixed up' can differ wildly. i think what sykik was getting at with the stock comment is that some performance parts 'cover up' driver error, so even though they may improve performance, in the long run you won't improve as a driver; and ultimately that is the only thing that you take with you. btw your car looks ok, i'm not a fan of body kits or rims even; and personally i think it doesn't look 'different', rather it looks the same as every other 'hooked up' car out there. as for mods, im guessing you don't have any intention of actually racing... so what's the point, right? i managed to get thru that without using the 'r' word once. i'm so proud of me. btw you guys are gonna scare her off with all this talk of nakedness. |

maybe i should just get a stock car and look like all of you. stock cars seem to earn more respect on here. or maybe i should find a guardrail and have someone poop on my car so i can look like some of your cars.
just because you all think you can drive better than me(which is probably true) and have better cars then me doesn't mean you have to be assholes about it. btw, i am an ugly bitch and you would not want to see me naked..it will blind you...you can ask gotrice240sx |

I think anything is possible.. you could definately be a better driver than me. I'm by no means a professional. I've got a good bit of practice, and professional training, but I don't actually race, so I lack a certain amount of experience..
I think you just misunderstand us.. Many 240 drivers revere the driving experience over the actual car. The 240 in stock form makes for an excellent platform to learn from as a beginner, and a serious weapon with minor upgrades in the hands of someone with the proper skills. That's why I say "revert to stock".. it's easier to learn that way. Car's with all kinds of aftermarket suspension goodies will get a novice into trouble much faster than a stock suspension. There's nothing wrong with having a cute car. I was simply giving you my opinion on what I would do with it. I appologize if I offended you, that was not my intention.

or, you can just not care what other people think and be happy with your car the way it is (or the way you'd like it to be). there are probably more than a few on here who think your car doesn't look bad at all. it just so happens that the people who post the most often are the ones who are the toughest critics. Quote:
at least your car looks better than mine. but, i'll have to admit mine makes no attempt to look "good".

don't take everything so seriously...this is just an internet chat forum...NOT the end of the world by any means...
and the nudity stuff was not REALLY about you..just joking in general...if i was out of line i appologize.. anyway...just so that people have somethin else to make fun of...here's pics of my car: before the front end was done: after, with wide body fenders not painted to match on STOCK steelies mismatched with 14" (LOL) meshies: too dark to see but that is a USDM Zenki S14 bumper zip tied on there..lol.. and a red trunk for good measure... now...is your car REALLY that bad??..no.. note: all pics taken with camera cell phone POS..sorry for low quality.. |

Actually I kind of like that kit.
and I'm sure a lot of people would hate my ghetto car. The funny thing is I made it ghetto. So long as you enjoy the car, keep the way it is. Just look for more ways to enjoy the car (I highly suggest driving it on a twisty road as fast as you can safely). Maybe your car needs an obligatory ziptie or two. I know I love to see nice cars with certain key things held on by zipties, because then I know they enjoy their car A LOT.
