Looks like it's gonna be a ricer shop. Hopefully I'm wrong. I might swing by to check it out.

http://sportcarmotion.com/project.htm Our project del sol made 335whp and is breaking into the 11's and just recieved a new roll cage because we got kicked out for being to fast without one. http://www.sportcarmotion.com/project%20delsol.htm One of the former project cars was the only R34 Nur Spec Skyline in the United States until it had to be sold. This is just to name a few. http://www.sportcarmotion.com/skyline.htm My impression of rice was cheap cars altezza lights and lots of stickers, but if rice actually means big power, fast cars and top of the line parts then I guess your right. |

doriftokouki,
I didn't get a chance to look at the website. I just looked at the flyer you posted. Like I said I hope I'm wrong. I've never heard of the shop before. The impression I just voiced the impression I got from your guys flyer. The problem is that if I got that impression from that flyer I know other had to have gotten the same impression. And your impression of rice is way off. Most people associate rice shops with shops that usually revolve around hondas and thier equals. Also, I've seen ricers who aren't cheap. Ricers also usually refer to cars that have a lot of show to cover up how slow the car runs. Also, my impression of a ricer is someone who thinks hondas and drag racers are superior to most. They laugh at drifting and poke fun of it, and also laugh at anyone with driving technique that isn't drag racing. So no, RICER doesn't just mean cheap cars altezza lights and lots of stickers. I've seen some powerful cars that look and sound like a ricer. Ricer is appearance and Attitude.

No biggy, yea, we do everything, drag, drift and grip racing. Everyone who works there has a drift car, I have a 240 and the one of the mechanics has an fc & ae86, and the other a fastback s13 and the owner an s13 coupe. We tried to balance the shop around people who are actually involved in the scene it makes for a better atmosphere and customer service because we know what we would want from a performance shop and thats what we try to deliver to our customers.
