Just picked up a s13

hello guys
Just picked up a s13 for $400
but the bad is that is an automatic.
Need some help on turning this s13 into a 5speed.
How difficult is it to turned it?

It's not too hard. It will just take a bit of wrench time and some research. There are some good guides here on Zilvia that outline everything you need to do and all the parts you'll need. Enjuku sells most of the parts new if that's the route you want to go.

I am actually tackling this this weekend in my s14. I bought all of my parts from enjuku, great people over there. I know it is a little bit different in the s13 but here are two links that I used to get the gist of what needed to be done.

Congrats on the price man. Check out your local junk yards, SJC has to have some near by. If not ebay, FRSPORT, craigslist, enjuku as stated above and craigslist are where i got the remaining little things i needed that the yards dident have.

Hey guys, I also just picked up an 89 S13. I've been trying to figure out the one light that is on my dash and it is not labeled it is an orange light and its on the left side of the gauge cluster 5th light from left to right. Would anyone be able to tell me what this is? I am hoping it is not the check engine light if so I may have some work to do.

I found out what it was and it is a CEL I am trying to figure out where the Exhaust Gas Temperature sensor is. Anyone have any idea? Its a KA24 SOHC
