hey guys im putting together a pretty fun project car, i have a 240 hatch and its getting a rb25 and thinking about trying to put the rhd skyline dash insted of the s13 rhd dash, i have the s13 rhd conversion and a skyline front clip with motor and everything, done that before, but i have never put a s30 240z front end on a s13 iv seen it before but it looks pretty sexy, it seems like if u cut the s13 fenders straight down in the front i can just fab the headlight buckets and front lower valance right one it, then put the s30 front hinges so it will open 240z style. defiantly the hard parts gonna be mixing the s13 hood and s30 hood together, thats what i have in mind but curious if anywon on here as done that conversion before or seen it done and can give me some pointers

really lol, i think it looks pretty good, and what hasint been done to much to a s13, silvia fronts are old news skyline fronts boring. just want something that will make people think about it again lol

Pretty sure the general consensus you'll get on this forum is that it's hideous. If all you're trying to do is be different, you'll definitely achieve that but I don't think you'll get many positive opinions or solid fab advise for this.

lol allright, honestly im not doing it for people opinons just want to do something different, and thought i would ask the bigist nissan page to see if people have done it before, lol but i defiantly understand ur guys reservations its a touchy swap, but i belive it will turn out good and defently different

It'sgoing to be a lot of fabrication and customization. This is definitely not a bolt-on affair as the 240z front end is narrower wheelbase than the 240sx. The picture you've just shown has the front end sitting a good 5" higher than a stock 240z, that's why it won't look good in person. It's kinda like a car doing the "duck face."

Nissan actually offered the s30 conversion for s13 as an option.
Doesn't mean it looks good.

Why do we STILL get these "hey bro I'm gonna do _______ conversion what do you guys think" threads.

Do people really need that kind of validation from total strangers???
If YOu think the conversion or swap or whatever is worth doing, DO IT, and THEN make a thread showing us. No more of these lame ass "hey I'm thinking about doing this, but only if OTHER people think it's cool" threads.
