Has anybody registered an out of state car in CA and had to get a verification of vehicle? I'm about to have mine done tomorrow and there supposed to check the vin, I'm worried that they'll see my 1jz swapped in and send it to state ref, or hopefully be dumb enough and not know the difference

Admins can lock. DMV guy looked right at my 1jz and believed it was a ka24 when I told him.
