I've been researching DIY wings for a couple weeks now and have seen that website but never saw that airfoil profile as available. Its the exact one I've been playing around with in Solidworks. Buying it from them might be MUCH easier than hot wire cutting my own. hmmm
Are you bringing the SM car to NEPA events ? I'm trying to get mine together in time for the first Pocono event. |

Anyone ran these types of wings where they mount to either plastic or fiberglass on OEM/OEM style wing bases? Seems like the downforce would be too much for the wing bases, but I just don't know. Maybe the profile of the wing limits the amount of downforce? This is pretty popular with the Porsche guys.
