S14 Cant tuck 18's?

Hey guys i'm running 18x9.5 all around with 225/35/18 tires, I dont have a problem with the wheels rubbing on the fender or the inside of the wheel well i'm slightly tucking tire all around but not too low, the problem is if I go any lower up front my wheels hit in the very top of the wheel well, seems to be a metal bar that it hits on is there any way to gain more clearance or do I just need to get 17's?
Same issue with the rear, yes I have all of my fender liner removed its hitting the actual metal

Actually read the posts that involve the S14

Just for the sake of information:
The rim offset is really important for fitment.
2.54 cm or 25.4mm is one inch.
Tire tread width is measured in mm.

Depending on your mostly aesthetic preferences.

Have you tried banging where its rubbing with a big fucking hammer?

never owned a S14, but on the 13 there is a pinch weld above the front wheel that'll gash your tire if you don't give it the BFH treatment...
