Got a code 12 on my ecu. Looked at the wiring and it has been lengthened but was done good. Cleaned the maf and the filter for it. Now car will idle then die randomly. Only part that looks to be bad is this

that bare wire runs all the way to the stock part of the harness bare. What is that and anyone have any suggestions

ok new question. at key on maf is reading .45v at idle(1500 right now) its read 1.24v. Heard its suppose to be 5v. Also guy on here said if i had a safc on it before(previous owner did) it can cause that issue?
