My dad SO made me clean it off before I left socal. He said someone would think it was an abandoned vehicle and tow it away. My car is such a piece of crap...LOL.
Will do!

Hey anyone know if the guy in the white hatch got his car home okay?
He stopped me at the entrance and said the engine seized and asked if I would come back and pick him and his car up. |

Ok so like, I let people use my tools and such at the event. However, I did not get back any of my extensions, and my torque wrench isn't working properly anymore. Not cool guys. So sorry, but only people pitted next to me may use my tools and stuff. That includes my jack. I don't like my stuff jumping from place to place without my knowing it.
And I especially don't like not getting my stuff back or getting it back broken. In other news, my friend Lisa took pics and will be emailing them to me soon. I'll post them up afterwards. Charlie, there's pics of you in it. |

I guess I can deal with missing extensions. I torque wrench that isn't working properly... that's something I cannot tolerate. That just means someone wasn't using it properly after I was done using it.

It's a Husky. It doesn't ratchet all the time. You have to have it at a slight angle to get it to ratchet. Regardless, tools no longer leave my pit area. Sorry folks. bring your own tools next time.

im pretty sure husky has a life time warrantee so bring it back or look to see how to get a new one. Or buy one and switch boxes and return the broken one

yeah OSH warranties Husky stuff if I remember correctly.
And Sears warranties Craftsmen for sure. Snap-on on the snap-on truck Matco on the Matco truck. Edgar, you should get a cheap harbor freight one for the track. It works, and its like 10 or 20 bucks depending on when you get it.

With torque wrenches, they have to be zeroed out after every use or they get damaged very quickly, incase you didn't know how to properly use one.
This is exactly why I don't bring my tools to the drift events anymore like I used to for Teddy, Josh, and Chris to use. Even though we're all friends and family at the events, no one can be trusted.

its not zeroing out, its usually ~20 percent of the maximum torque. I hate when people put mine all the way down past that mark... like uh hey guys stop when there are no more tick marks or numbers. There is a reason why torque wrenches usually start at 20 ft lbs and go up. And for products such as torque wrenches, calipers, micrometers, levelers and even jacks and stuff there is usually only a 90 day warrantee. Read the pamphlet that comes folded up with your little craftsman torque wrench.

if you guys ever have friends come over or use a truck (for towing), lock em in the car/truck if you aren't using em. i've been doing that for the past couple events.
