s14 sugestions for rb20det swap
hello all, i'll soon be leaving japan, and heading back to the good ol' US of A! i plan on buying a zenki s14 and doing a rb20det swap with a gt-r 34
turbine, or maybe a t-67 not sure yet, i drove a c-33 laurel with an rb20det for a while but electrical issues made me sell it...i've also had a jzx90 mark II toure-v, but totalled it drifting... anyway since i've never done a swap before i wanted to ask people who've done the rb20det swap what all did you need/use for your car it will be helpful thanks! |

Search dude, Your not the first to wanna do this.
and FYI the GT-R Turbo's are small and are also a T25 flange so it wont bolt up to the RB20 manifold.

GTR turbos are actually t28 flange ... but whatever they still dont fit a t3 flange
i think you are thinking of getting a turbo off a R34 GTS . which has the NEO RB25. |

i think that might be it, i have a friend that had put a GT-r turbine on his 32 gts-t
but couldn't remember which one, but then again i'm thinking of a bigger turbo that spools faster, T-67 maybe? i lik T-88's but they spool slow(sorta) any estimates on how much this will all cost? i can do the work myself, just saying getting parts to make it work...have any figures for me? |

You need to get your trims straight GT-R's were Never GTS-t's only GT-R's = RB26DETT =Twin T-28's R32 GTS-t is an RB20DET- Single T3 (normally Reffered to as a T25 of the RB realm) Im pretty sure it wasnt a NEO turbo since NEO's were pretty rare to see in Oki. More than likely it was an R33 GTS-25t turbo Search ppl's build threads and search websites to find out how much parts are. were not gonna spoon feed you and do all the work for you.

My suggestion, don't waste your time on an RB20...

Exactly what I was going to say. I would suggest an RB25 at least. I have an RB20 right now in my S13 and I kinda wish I went with a 25 to begin with or just go SR. RB20 isn't really worth the time and effort.

Do more research, and don't start new Threads until you have exhausted every avenue of approach to find your answers.
The information is out there, you just need to find it for yourself.
