Sorry, I seriously thought it was an ebay fake key.. I'm almost surprised to hear it's an authentic Nissan key.

I've read that a lot of 240's have successfully been driven with this key blank.
But you need the accessory to get the steering column cover off.

Q45 key is bad ass, heavy as fuck too, it just feels mean. I've got a Nismo key from my old car, I forgot to pull the ignition before I sold it. I guess I could drive to Miami and find the dude's house, then drive it back. I still have the title, he never asked for it. That was four years ago.
There's always those ghey butterfly keys on Ebay, or the flip out MBZ style keys which don't work worth a damn and break after four tries.

lol, I can take my key out while driving, and it doesn't effect anything, it's pretty cool when people are like "what?! you don't need a key to drive!?!?"

im pretty sure my car has been stolen before. I can pull my key out of the ignition when the car is running....So i have no need for a nice key i prolly lose it.

I have this really badass Hello Kitty key for the old 14.. I need to get another one made for the Civic.
Looks just like that but isn't a USB phone charger and has a key coming out of the bottom of her |

It's battery powered. Charges your phone via 9v battery or whatever.

I know on my S14 you can't remove the key without hitting the unlock tab/botton, after turning to the off position.
