Help help!! Z32 noise underneath!!!
So long story short 92 TT car 5speed. Put a different set of injectors in along with a new z1 ecu chip and took car out for drive..... Well, it did great through the gears no grinds as usual came to a stop and dropped clutch around 3500-4000 rpms to see how the chip and injectors would react. Awesomeness happened spun 275s like they were nothing started to wheel hop through second so I feathered it back and grabbed third everything seemed fine until I came to another stop...
Rolled up to the red light like every other time but when light turned green and started to roll it started to sound like hmm my first guess was interior piece was loose and plastic was making that rubbing noise it does. Then it kept doing it until I came to a complete stop. I rolled down the window and found out noise was coming from underneath car. As I go faster the noise kinda disappears, when slowing down the noise gets a little louder and the "chirping" noise gets slower. My first thought was tranny but ruled up to light in neutral and makes same noise. The slower the car rolls the longer and slower the noise sounds so is this coming from driveshaft 2piece shaft? Makes worse noise when moving slow disappears when up to speed and kinda feels like it vibrates now but barely enough to think about it??? Let me know what you think. |
