SR20DET Motor Swap $3000
Includes parts and CHEAP labor. Electromotive TEC3 $1300 Oval Port Tial 40mm External Wastegate $300 550cc Injectors $350 Greddy FMIC (W/Polydyne Black Coating) $800 GFB StealthFX BOV $300 Custom Exhaust Manifold $500 T3/T04E Turbo $500 Greddy Profec B Electronic Boost Controller $200 Oil Lines $50 Greddy Turbo Timer $70 VDO Boost Gauge $30 Piping $150 Flanges + Gaskets $50 RX7 Oil Cooler $20 Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump $65 3" Stainless Steel Downpipe $150 3" High Flow Cat $60 3" Piping $150 3 3" High Flow Mufflers $250 Aftermarket Clutch $350 Lightweight Flywheel $400 So, here's what I need help with. I need to scrape about $2k or so off this list, but considering this is almost $10k worth of stuff, that shouldn't be too hard. The Labor is going to be next to nothing. My roomate works at a local shop. Some of the things I'm questioning, are: Injectors, will MKIV Supra injectors work? They're side feed after all, and 550cc, and can be had for around $150. Better option on the FMIC? I don't care what it looks like, function is my main concern. Please, no comments on cutting up a Diesel Truck IC! If anyone can get these kits cheaper, I would greatly appreciate knowing about it! Anyone know about the 3000gt vr4 BOV? My roomate swears by them! If not, I might lean towards a crushed 1g dsm bov. Clutch! The only one I can find at a decent price is an ACT. I had one on my old hb, with an Integra Type R motor in it, and it held up GREAT, but I've heard some bad stories about ACT clutches. And I don't believe Clutchmaster makes one for the RWD SR. Any other companies you guys reccomend in this price range? I know the 3 muffler thing seems absurd. But I want a QUIET QUIET QUIET car. Thus the BOV I chose. And if you didn't notice the black polydyne coating on the FMIC, you'll see what I'm aiming for! Price on the Lightweight Clutch seems pretty good so far, any other reccomendations? Is there anything I missed? There's always SOMETHING, and I would appreciate any advice you guys have! Bigger Turbo? I've got a t3/t04b turbo, but It's only rated up to 350 hp. I'm looking for the sub-mid 400hp range eventually. Thanks, Charles Weller
