How come this site has no pop ups, no banners, nothing whatsoever.
So then how does the site survive???

You will then see a couple ad's and a place where members can donate money to help out.  For the most part, West has just been using his own money to run things.

I've done everything for free but with the new website design I am starting to charge for Ad space. I started a LLC and have everything all setup to do so. The site has progressed along from a Hobby to a Job, although its still a hobby for me, but there is no Hobby I know of that requires so much time and money to keep the site running. You guys shouldn't be bothered by the Ads on the site, I try my best to keep them as Content related as possible (the magazine ads are for car magazines) <img src="#/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='

Just to add...

I can personally say that some of those sponsors are excellent companies to do business with as well. When I am shopping for something, I always look at compaies that advertise here (although a dedicated section would be nice - since the revolving ad on the main page requres lots of reloading to find the ones you want - hint *edit* in additiona to the ads on the other pages*).

Another thing is that when you buy from a company who's ad you saw here, let them know. That way, they know that their ads are working and they will continue to support the site.
