I just went to their site and priced out that setup. Holy shit that stuff is expensive. Congratulations man it's definitely going to make the car that much better.

Holy crap those pics are huge... my bad
Yeah definitely a pretty penny - easily one of the more expensive kits out there but the thought was do it right the first time after seeing some of the other kits with issues on the market.

I’d like to be at 550 to the wheels. I was making 400rwhp @14psi when the first trans died on the dyno. Looking to drop in some 264 cams and maybe spray meth before the next dyno. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

BiG MiKE's Little Build!
Ran into a little issue where I didn’t have the pilot bearing puller so that stopped me in my tracks today. Heres some pics from the day.
Side by side of Old R154 with New CD00A and SeriaNine Adapter Finally figured out how to resize pics! Sorry about the massive photos

Got the old bearing out using the bread trick A $4 clutch alignment tool and a slice of bread was all it took. For anyone who's not familiar with the trick its pretty simple (and safe). Take pieces of the bread and push into center. Tap it in with the clutch tool and hammer until the bearing pops out like seen below. Clean out cavity and go make yourself a sandwich with the left over bread.
Now the build can continue...

Got the trans mated to the engine finally and threw it back in. Had to pull it out after the first time and bash the tunnel in but now its back in and fitting much better.

I bent the shit out of it the first time I installed it due to the trans not being high enough but it is a bit on the thin side. Haven?t come up with a solution on the shifter boot yet. Any ideas? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

I have this bracket that came with my old Mazworx kit that would probably work perfectly, it basically relocates the shift boot bolt pattern rearward a bit, looks like it would work for your setup. I'll try and remember to send you a photo of it when I get home.
Actually now that I look at it again, it would put the boot where the base part of the 999 shifter is, but the shift lever itself looks like it's still in the factory area, so it should line up with the upper console boot still? |

Been a while since the last update. Cars been running for a few weeks now and it feels great! SerialNine shifter is crazy short and took some serious getting used to but damn does it feel good. This trans with a stock 4.08 rear rips through gears like nothing - acceleration is insane but highway speeds suffer big time. Few pics since last time
Custom Driveshaft made locally took less than a day and came out great. Sent the car off to STP Motorsports near me to double check me on the clutch pedal setup, fix a coolant leak and while it was there i had the steering rack rebuilt and car aligned. Havent found a solution to seal up the shifter hole so a little aluminum tape did the trick for now. First oil change is probably well over a year Random pics of the bay.. planning on cleaning up a ton of wiring and more things in the bay now that its back on the road
