yeah i saw that on speed earlier today. the crash didnt look too terrible, he just went into a wall backwards and that caused a fuel spill and the fuel ignited. he was only sitting in the flames for a couple seconds. definitely not something i would want to go through.

I talked to a local dirt track owner about a 4 banger series (think gutted s13 on dirt) and he acted like it was the dumbest thing he'd ever heard. *shrug* I would think there would be a lot of support for it considering how popular compact imports are.

A lot of local oval tracks have 4cyl classes, but the rules in them in many places are still set up to keep imports out.
Still, I've seen old Integras and S12s built into oval track cars. |

I dunno, I'm just sayin', if I could go out on saturday night and watch some 240s, celicas, 510s etc hanging it out on dirt, I'd probably go. I might even be willing to build a car to do it.

kcolyer27: that is THE most retarded statement I've seen all day. don't be ignorant and judgmental just because you might not like the sport. NASCAR isn't my favorite driving sport by far (drifting, rally, F1, ALMS, etc are all way ahead), but I can still watch a race and appreciate it. Losing Dale Earnhart was a tragedy to ALL motorsports. He was a truly GREAT driver. If Keiichi Tsuchiya were to get killed while drifting (or in JGTC or whatever), would you trivialize it? If Michael Schumacher died while racing, would that be fun to mock? If Lance Armstrong were to get run over just before completing the Tour de France, would that be the joke of the day?
Your attempt at humor is an immature and worthless stab at a tragic event. Grow up a little and open your mind. Your lack of compassion and understanding shows your ignorance, and that ignorance is just the same, if not worse, than the ignorance shown by V8/domestic/Nascar people (generally - hate to make a generalization here because there are MANY open-minded people in those categories). -Kevin |

wow.
I feel like a total ASS. I didn't realize I was talking to a banned user. http://www.zilvia.net/f/member.php?d...o&userid=19772 You could've at least been sneaky with your email addresses, so that I'd have to verify by IP. Dipshit. Get the hell off of Zilvia. You're not welcome here. If you have a problem with this, go cry to WeST --- [email protected] --- I don't know why Jeff banned you, but i have no doubt you deserved it. This time, it's gonna stick. I'll be watching your IPs. If You sign back onto Zilvia again under another alias, I'll be reporting you to your ISP for abuse. -Kevin |
