I know that there are not very many people on here that would follow NASCAR. I grew up in a house that watched pretty much every Busch Grand National (now Nationwide) and Winston Cup (now Sprint Cup) race on the weekends.

After I moved out my interest in NASCAR became more of a passing glance and I usually only watch one or two races a season.

But knowing that I grew up on it and that I have a "need for speed" my wife set up for me to have a 3-lap ride along in a Stockcar at Pocono International Raceway, which is about 2.5 hours from my home.

Might be getting to do the drive sometime sooner than I first thought. Been a lot of talk about it with the family members that pitched in for the ride-along. So I think they might be planning on pitching in toward the driving program.
