why wasn't fisher in? It seemed like they took him out until the 4th. Where was Walton? He played Garnett pretty damn good in Boston. Gasol was garbage on defense and the last Boston FG the machine just let him blow by! WTF!!!!!!! We got comfortable early and let them play themselves back into the game and when we had to make shots we were too shaken up to actually make them. We were playing not to lose the lead instead of smelling blood. We had a chance to tie the series up, go into game 5 with ALL the momentum and go back to Boston and put all the pressure on Boston not to lose. We choked, we gave it up, the series is all but over. I'm not even excited about game 5

what you talking about..game 5 should be a great game. what would fisher have done? the lakers were up 24 points..what difference would fisher make at that point?

Kobe is over-rated? You obviously dont watch much NBA basketball. Before anybody goes down the "Kobe didnt do anything" road, remember he facilitates the offense and when the team is up by 20 and 24 points, he doesn't and shouldn't have to take over a game and drop 30 +.

At any rate, tonight's game was un-fucking-believable. Gasol has been NON EXISTENT both offensively and defensively. When he does decide to go to the basket he does so in such a bitchassness nature thats it not even remotely difficult to defend.

On a side note, Odom FINALLY decided to play tonight. Took him long enough...

Lakers are still and always will be my team, but if we're gonna play like this, there's no chance in hell we're winning a championship anytime soon. I'll watch game 5 no doubt, but i've pretty much lost all hope for a parade in LA this year.

yeah, as much as i hate to say it, celtics are playing much more consistently if nothing else. Odom and Gasol have been very dissapointing in the finals. Fisher is awesome, and you can't really fault Kobe, but maybe that isn't enough. Celtics do deserve their victory. i'm not going to have high hopes at this point, but I'll be happy if LA wins at least one more game.

If Lakers can't pull it off this year, i have no doubt that they will work their ass off this summer and come back better.

Next year with a healthy Bynum(would help ALOT on KG and Perkins), Lakers will take it and i hope to face Boston again in the finals and beat them to shit.

what are you talking about? Fisher was 4 of 5 from the field. Odom AND Fisher were out for the majority of the 3rd and fish was out the majority of the 4th. you're only talking about a few shots here and there to stall the momentum and lakers win by 15. Fish would have been huge on both sides of the ball.

and i'm not going to comment on that idiotic Kobe comment. No one is MJ, but Kobe is the best in the league, PERIOD!

I never said I gave up, my post said IF the Lakers dont pull it off. I still believe the Lakers can win it, I never give up hope.

Lakers can be down 10 points with 20 seconds to go, a millions plays will run through my mind as to how the Lakers can win a game.

Lakers just need to take it 48 minutes at a time. I don't mind being down 3-1. Guess what? That means the Lakers have a chance to make history and be the first team to ever come back down 3-1 to win in the finals. Winning 2 games in Boston will just make the trophy that much sweeter.

Why did the Lakers get beat? The last 2 minutes, nobody had a fucking clue what they were doing in defense. All of them were running around like a bunch of headless chicken. Kobe was the only one playing it kool while everybody else was in a panic mode and had no clue what to do. Perfect example was when they inbounded the ball instead of a time out right off the bat, what the hell was that? Sasha just letting Allen blow by him, mind you he was expecting some help but that was fucking pathetic...

Its funny how the 2 teams flipped in their playing tempo. Celtics were the team who were playing very inconsistent, while the lakers had all the poise. Celts are now playing a way better basketball even in game 3 when they actually lost.

Who said anything about excuses? We played great and then let fell apart and lost an EASILY winnable game. That is inexcusable.

I haven't lost ALL hope. I said pretty much. I still have hope cuz they're my team, but i was let down tonight...all of us laker fans were. To say you didnt lose a single ounce of hope after tonights disaster would be a bold faced lie.

kobe is by far one of the best players to EVER lay his hands on a basketball.

how are you going to say he is over-rated based on this lost? dont blame him because the lakers lost, blame the team. he was doing what he needed to do. making shots staying active. if anyone was to win the game for LA it would be kobe. best clutch player and thats probably an understatement. the bench looked like they wanted to be the hero's of the game, taking stupid shots when the ball was in their hands.

I only watched the first two quarters since I have to get up early to be at work, but when they had that 24 point lead, the Lakers players were laughing and dancing around, celebrating a little too early evidently. I just wish I could have watched the whole game.
