I have a z32 transmission in my s14. I am using the xcessive kit to shorten the shifter position, but the shifter when out of gear instead of just moving side to side it moves in a bit of an arc.
for example:
"( instead of |" while not in gear.
this also causes the traditional H pattern for the shifter to be all sorts of messed up and more of a W pattern. could just a bad shifter do this? or is it with the shortened linkage? seems like no one is complaining of the same issue(according to my inferior googling skills, anyway.) thanks for your help!
