KA rebuild
im thinking about maybe getting a turbo kit for my KA but my motor has alot of miles... i was then thinking about rebuilding my motor and then buying the turbo kit but idk how much a rebuild costs or if its even worth it. also would it be better to do the rebuild and the turbo kit or just swap in a new rb20 or sr20? help me out here...

IMO you will spend Way more money and alot more aggervation on a swap vs a re-build. I would say a good OEM part re-build would cost you in the 1,000$ range for everything. Now since your wanting turbo I would put a good set of bearings and a new set of rod's & Pistons in there. Which will cost you 1500-2000$ for the build. But even if thats all you have the funds for your motor will be built and ready for boost later on down the road when you find a good kit or get the funds. IMO just re-build and turbo it.
